The Starburst Shawl
This Tunisian crochet shawl is beginner friendly and uses 2 skeins of fingering weight yarn.
For this pattern, you will need:
2 skeins of fingering weight yarn, 400 yards each (see yarn notes below)
5 mm (US H/8) Tunisian crochet hook with 16” to 22” cable and stopper
Tapestry needle
Scissors
1-2 Stitch markers (optional)
Blocking supplies
Yarn Notes: For this pattern, you will need either 1 tonal and 1 variegate/speckled, or 2 tonals. C2 is the tonal and C1 is the variegate in this pattern.
For this sample I used December’s Eve (C2) and Gingham (C1) from The Frosted Stitch in her Snowflake Sock base. This base is 463y/100g, and is 75% SW Merino and 25% Nylon.
