We all have it. You know, our fabulous and amazing massive stashes. Well, there might be a few crazy responsible people who do not have a stash, but where is the fun in that. The mountain of yarn hiding in a closet, on a shelf, under the bed, within the garage, around the shed, in a trunk, on a bunk…

And sometimes, they get a wee bit out of control. Hey, I’m definitely guilty of that. Which is why when folks started calling the yarn shop asking about the arm knit roving blankets, I thought…. Why not make them with stash yarn instead.

Yarn requirements
Dig in your stash and combine yarns until you have a ‘yarn ‘ with the approximate diameter of roving (1-2”). Pay attention to the yardage of the skeins. If a yarn only has 100 yards in a skein, have a second skein of the same or a similar yarn nearby to join with a knot or Russian join as needed.

Please feel free to make and sell the afghans you make.
