The Stilt Walker is a fun crescent shaped shawl that plays with different structures, finishing of with a lace border. I made Stlit Walker samples in both fingering and sport weight yarn and gauge and sizing for both are provided in the pattern. The smaller shawl: Knitted in Wolkenspiel on size 3,5mm/US 4 needles. 25 sts and 50 rows in 4 inch garter sts equals a shawl of 35 cm deep and 100 cm in wingspan when blocked.
The larger shawl: Knitted in Lifestyle on size 4mm/US 6 needles. 22 sts and 40 rows in 4 inch garter sts equals a shawl of 50 cm deep and 135 cm in wingspan when blocked.

Please note that the lace section of the shawl is JUST CHARTED. No written instructions is provided for the lace chart. In all other parts of the pattern written instructions is provided.
