Here’s a pattern for a quick, last minute gift. Once you get the hang of attaching the strips, the scarf takes about one hour to knit. It’s great for using up yarn (keep the weights the same, though), for coordinating colors, for using hand-dyed yarn. For the scarf pictured, I used 4 colors of Caron Simply Soft. You could probably get 3 scarves out of these 4 skeins. It’s machine knit, but could be done by hand with some patience. Check out my blog for the free pattern:
