SUMMER BREEZE CARDIGAN!

When I set out to design this cardigan, I knew I wanted something SUPER simple in construction that would also be easily customizable for length and fit! This cardigan can be worn cropped and fitted or longer and more oversized–or anything in between!

The pattern is written with sizing for XXS/XS, XS/S, S/M, M/L, L/XL, XL/2X, 2X/3X, 3X/4X & 4X/5X and has lots of photos to guide you along the way!

MEASUREMENTS:

Estimated circumference of finished cardigan: XXS/XS (26.5”), XS/S (30”), S/M (35”), M/L (39”), L/XL (42.5”), XL/2X (46”), 2X/3X (51”), 3X/4X (54.5”), 4X/5X (58”)

Estimated length of finished cardigan:
19”(XXS/XS,XS/S), 20”(S/M,M/L), 21”(L/XL,XL/2X), 22”(2X/3X,3X/4X), 23”(4X/5X)

My patterns also include a full measurement guide “index” at the end of the pattern with photos of my testers, which size they made, and their measurements to help you decide which size will be right for you! I also included yarn recommendations from my testers to get you started!

MATERIALS NEEDED:

• Yarn Type: 2 strands of Bulky (5) weight yarn held double. You can also use Super Bulky (6) weight yarn held single or even worsted (4) weight yarn held triple or quadrupled, just be sure to check your gauge. See page 13 of the pattern for a list of recommended yarn!

• Yardage: XXS/XS (800), XS/S (925), S/M (1050), M/L (1175), L/XL (1300), XL/2X (1425), 2X/3X (1550), 3X/4X (1675), 4X/5X (1800) - this yardage is specifically for holding two strands of yarn together for this project like I did.

• Tapestry Needle, stitch markers & scissors

CROCHET HOOK & GAUGE:

• 14mm hook
• Gauge (4”x4”): 7 SC BLO sts (0.57”) x 9 SC BLO rows (0.44”)

• SC BLO - Single Crochet into the Back Loop Only
• FTH - From the Hook
• Ch - Chain
• SM - Stitch Marker
• ST/STS - Stitch/Stitches
