This is the pattern for the summer showers dress which I originally rustled up for my daughter. It is available in both US and UK terminology* and will also require the use of a sewing machine to make the skirt section.

The crocheted yoke has a written pattern and the skirt section has a written pattern and full photo-tutorial, so you do not need to be more than a beginner sewist!

You will need some aran/worsted weight yarn and a 4.5 mm hook, aswell as between 1/2 to 1 metre of cotton fabric (depending on the size made) for the skirt section. Trimmings like Ric Rac and Pom Pom edging are optional but seriously cute!

This lovely little dress is nice and easy to make and can be whipped up in only a few hours.
