Size / Measurements
Fits an adult, 20-22 inch, head.

  • Can be adjusted by increasing or decreasing the amount of rows in your hat band and then increase or decrease your total stitch count for the head portion.

Also remember that handmade beanies do stretch out over time with wear and wash, this will relax a little bit depending on care.

Items Needed

2 – 3 skeins of DK weight yarn. If using two skeins, I would cake them and just hold the two center strands together throughout the beanie. If you are using three, cake those three, then split your “multi” yarn into 2 cakes.

Colors Sam used for the sample: Cotton Candy Clouds (variegated), Clear Skies (blue), and DayDream (pink).

5 mm crochet hook
Tapestry needle
Scissors
(optional) 6 inch pompom
