This cardigan makes me feel like dancing! With the beautiful ruffles in the front, the broad ribs and the deep V it makes any outfit shine. Use it over a dress for going out, over a camisole and trousers, over a tank and a pair of jeans… it really goes with lots of things. If you want your cardi to have a more casual look you can omit the contrasting ruffle edging.
The knitting is fast and no fussy. The pattern is easy to follow and as it is mostly gather stich the pieces grow fast. The ruffle is picked up at both fronts.
The sizes goes from Small - Medium - Large, finished measurements 32” - 42” / 92 - 108 cm. The patterns is in both cm and inches.
I used Debbie Bliss Rialto4ply for the cardi, but I think any good quality merino wool with the same gauge and yardage would do just as fine.
