Technically speaking this design is plaid not tartan; but I have a local pub of the same name, so I’m sticking with it!

It’s much simpler than it looks, you only need to know basic knitting skills and two colour stranded knitting to make this, no catching of floats required. Three colours of yarn are required; background, light and dark. Light and dark are different shades of the same colour.

One Size. Hat is 50cm circumference, to fit adult head 52-58cm

Hat is made with worsted yarn.
