The Tempest:

Worked from the center out, this design can be customized to fit large to small and short to tall figures. A shorter person can make the center square smaller and the sides shorter by moving down a needle size. A taller person can use the heavier yarn and move up in needle size to enlarger the center square, leaving the sides long enough (as pictured) to be flung over a shoulder. The sides could also be shortened for a more traditional shawl by adding the border at the desired length. The choice is yours!
