The Tettegouche Toque is a double brim worsted weight hat pattern that includes bonus instructions to make an ear warmer in addition to a hat. This pattern is knit in the round on 5mm (US 8) needles.

Three sizes are included for kids as young as 6 on up to a man sized hat. Speaking of men…This fair isle pattern is great for guys, but still looks stunning on women. You will use at least 3 colors of yarn with the option to add a 4th accent color and to make the brim a different color than the body of the hat.

So many options! Ear warmer can be made narrow/wide/ double thick/single layer/fleece lined. Photos and video links of bind of techniques and how to join a double brim are included.

I write my patterns so beginners can succeed! The pattern is 7 pages long, but fear not, you do NOT have to print the entire thing. The 7th page is a worksheet that has the meat of the pattern condensed for easy reference while you work. Read through the pattern on your device and then only print the one page.

Techniques used:
* denotes optional technique

Connecting a double brim
