This project was inspired by looking at some of my leftover fingering weight yarn from previous projects. Most of the yarns were in shades of natural, blue, and gray. However, I had small amounts of bright pink, and decided to work them into the project.

The cowl is knit in the round in stockinette stitch, and the pink accents are worked as garter stitch short rows.

The project requires approximately 500-600 yards of fingering weight yarn. 200 yards each of blue, gray, and natural, and less than 50 yards of pink.

The project as shown includes Shibui Staccato, Sapphire Jade Cashmere, Sapphire Jade Cashmere Silk, Rowan Kidsilk Haze (knit double), Rowan Angora Haze (discontinued), and Rowan Mohair Haze (discontinued).

Needles: Size 4 (3.50 mm) 32-inch circular knitting needles.
