The Thursday Snood (Wednesday Inspired)
While not a direct replica of the Wednesday snood, my Thursday snood is warm, fashionably black, and quick and easy to make! I took some liberties with this snood to make it a breeze to put together, taking advantage of the nature of black yarn to make larger, simple stitches. While easy to make, it’s still elegant and a perfect homage to the original!
This pattern uses the moss stitch and a super bulky yarn to create a fabric that works up incredibly fast, is warm, and still remains drapey and flattering.
If you’re the kind of person that hates trying to make gauge, this is the pattern for you! There’s no set gauge you need to meet, just dimensions to reach with whatever hook and yarn size you’d prefer.
What You’ll Need:
* ~380 yds of Super Bulky Weight Yarn in:
-------Black
* Worsted Weight Yarn in:
-------Black
-------White
- Crochet Hook
- Size up a bit to your recommended size (I used a size 9)
- Tapestry Needle
If you have any issues, I’m happy to lend a hand as you work through this pattern!
