The Tie Top
The Tie Top is a delicate and simple tie-top, a bigger sibling to The Tie Bra, offering the same opportunity to adjust the fit individually to suit different body shapes and needs.
We envision The Tie Top in summer paired with high-waisted jeans, on the dance floor, or over a thin blouse in colder months. It’s another great basic addition to your wardrobe.

About Sizes:
The yarn quantities listed above are based on sizes S (M) L (XL) XXL (XXXL). However, the top is knit according to your own measurements, so it’s better to purchase an extra skein rather than too few, as the required amount of yarn can vary depending on how much coverage you want at the front of the bust.
Needles and Accessories:
One circular needle (40cm / 60cm) or two regular knitting needles size US 1.5 (2.5 mm)
Two double-pointed needles size US 1.5 (2.5 mm)
One stitch holder cord
One measuring tape
One safety pin
One pair of scissors
One blunt needle
Construction of The Tie Top:
The Tie Top is knit sideways, starting from the back panel behind the left arm, moving across the bust, and finishing on the right side of the back. An i-cord edge is knit along both the top and bottom edges of the top. Finally, two long straps are knit, which are attached at the front of the top and threaded through the top casings, crossed at the back, and threaded through the bottom casings to be tied at the lower back.
