Unisex design using two contrasting colours in fingering weight yarn. High contrasting colours are recommended in order for the pattern to pop!
Sizing to cover all ages from child to adult men.
Height/depth of the beanie can be increased by increasing the number of rows between Charts A and B of the colour work pattern.
A circular 3mm needle was used throughout but not essential. Any other circular knitting methods such as Magic Loop or DPN’s can be used. For a looser fitting beanie, a larger needle can be used after the ribbing for the stocking stitch pattern and remainder of the beanie such as a half size or full size needle increase from 3mm.
A perfect project for beginners to stranded colour work and for stash-busting leftover sock yarn!
