This sock pattern is devoted to Loki, the Trickster god of the Norse mythos.

There are two files, for two versions of the pattern.

The original version of the pattern is the Director’s Cut, designed to be tricksy. Please read the whole pattern before casting on. This pattern made the test knitter cry. File is Loki.pdf.

The simpler, easier to knit, kinder, gentler pattern, Loki.light.pdf, was sent off with Holiday Yarns’ Heroes and Villains sock club April 2014, and is now available for purchase. Some jokes are still included, and there is a purchase code for the Director’s cut.
