The Twisted Unicorn offers two Mane lengths in the pattern. The long mane is for the person that wants the option of wearing it as a scarf, the shorter version is for regular wear.

Gauge for hat portion( Adult Small): 5 rnds in 6 1/2” across. Gauge 5 Hdc with 2 strands of yarn = 2”
Gauge for hat portion( Adult Large): 6 rnds in 7 1/2” across. Gauge 5 Hdc with 2 strands of yarn = 2”

• Hat portion: 243 yds, Worsted weight (4) Red Heart Super Saver = Dark Orchid or Minty
• Long Mane: 532 yds, Worsted weight (4) Ice Yarns Huge Mohair = Purple Pink
• Shorter Mane: 396 yds, Worsted weight (4) Red Heart Super Saver = Tourmaline
• Horn: 26 yds, Worsted weight (4) Red Heart Super Saver = White
• Horn spiral: 7ft, fine (2) I split RHSS in half to get 2 ply. RHSS = Dark Orchid or Minty
• K hook (6.50 mm)
• F hook (3.75 mm)
