Ukiyo:
(n.)
“the floating world”
Living in the moment, detached from the bothers of life.

This design reminded me of waves, or ripples in the water… and being that it was designed during the Covid 19 pandemic, I thought this was a fitting name.

This beanie is knit in the round, using 3 different yarn options … my favourite merino fibres, Malabrigo Mecha, Malabrigo Chunky, and Madeline Tosh ASAP.

This beanie can be worked up both as a perfectly fitted beanie, and as a slightly slouchy beanie.

The Ukiyo Hat is designed to fit the average adults head of 22” - 23”.

As always, this is a 1 skein wonder, making it an affordable luxury beanie design!

I hope you love this as much as I do!
