The Ultimate Cowl
This pattern has an optional I-cord draw string. I normally work a darker color for the one end of the cowl and a lighter for the other end.
If you choose to work your cowl similar to mine you will need
approximately:
Color A: 108 yards
Color B: 54 yards
Color C: 108 yards
Gauge is not vital. The cowl didn’t grow much after wash.
Stitches required: Knit, knit into the back of the stitch, Purl, slip stitch, yarn over needle, Knit 2 stitches together, I-Cord.
Cast on: I use Continental aka Long Tail - you can use your preferred method. Some for Bind Off.
Make sure to read entire instructions before you start as you may wish to make changes.
Draw string is optional, knit into back of stitch for the rib is optional.
Don’t forget patterns are not carved in stone, it is yours.
So please make the changes that makes you happy to wear this cowl.
Happy Knitting!
