I wanted a hat that

1. covers well
2. is a quick knit (worsted weight)
3. is a super-simple pattern
4. is slouchy
5. looks kinda ordinary, but still cool.

So I made one. I’m sure this pattern had been re-invented a zillion times, but it was really fun writing it down and I hope it can be useful to beginners and for those who look for a last minute christmas gift:)
