This knitting tutorial is for a machine knitted beanie with a unicorn pattern, in the sizes child, teen/small adult and adult.

Inspired by my unicorn-loving 5 year old nephew, I made this easy and fun knitting hat tutorial for standard gauge machine knitting.

This unicorn pattern is 24 stitches wide, and can be used on a 4.5 mm standard gauge knitting machine without rib. We have used a Silver Reed SK280.

The pattern includes a stitch diagram.

You may sell items made with this pattern, as long as you credit us as the designers.

ENGLISH AND NORWEGIAN PATTERN.

Yarn:
Sport/fine yarn. We´ve used:

• 50 g Drops Nord - uni colour 19 (main color) for child, 100 g for teen and adult.

• 50 g Drops Nord - uni colour 01 (Contrast color)

You also need:

• 4.5 mm knitting machine and basic equipment.
• Transfer tool for transferring stitches.
• Tapestry needle for joining together.
• Scissors for cutting off ends.

Gauge:
28 x 37 stitches pr. 10 x 10 cm. Use the yarn and tension that you need to get this gauge.

Sizes:
The sizes are: Child, teen/small adult, adult

Denne strikkeoppskriften er for en maskinstrikket lue med enhjørningsmønster, i størrelsene barn, tenåring/liten voksen og voksen.

Oppskriften er inspirert av min 5 år gamle nevø som elsker enhjørninger, og denne oppskriften er enkel og morsom!

Mønsterrapporten er 24 masker bred og kan bli brukt på en 4.5 mm finstrikkemaskin uten rib-apparat. Vi har brukt en Silver Reed SK280.
