The Unicorn Tail Experiment
One of the best parts of working in a yarn shop is when the new yarns arrive. The inspiration for this pattern was opening a recently delivered box, and discovering all the lovely colors of Madelinetosh Merino Light in the bite-size packages of Unicorn Tails.
The Unicorn Tail Experiment is a simple, sideways-knitted seamed cowl designed to show off endless combinations of these beautiful colors. I used 10 different colors – you can use as many or as few as you wish. Don’t like cowls? Forget the seaming and make a scarf. Want a larger wrap? Add more tails. Have fun, and experiment!
