The unknown artist toy
The idea behind this pattern is that you knit the body and let your kids or yourself! add the face features using their imagination. It will be a great opportunity for you to teach them how to sew a button (for the eyes perhaps?) or basic stitching.
Is a perfect pattern to use with all those leftovers that are in your stash. You can knit this pattern with any yarn, any needle. Just take in mind that the larger the needle and the thicker the yarn, the bigger the toy will be and viceversa.
Materials
3mm DPN
Two stitch markers.
Scarp yarn.
Tapestry needle.
Gauge
Approximately 7 sts per 2,5 cm but gauge is not critical.
Yarn used & Recommended
I used fingering vintage acrylic yarn. Unlabeled.
If you want the toy to have the same size as the one shown in the pattern I suggest using fingering yarn or similar.
