She is known as the woman aboard the Titanic who wanted the life boats to go back and get more people. History does not tell us whether she achieved that but in a time when women were considered fragile and the weaker sex, Molly Brown or as her friends called her showed a strength and courage that was not often seen. This shawl is part of The Women of Substance Series to benefit the scholarship fund.
