Knit cuff down, with 3 sizes (56/64/72 stitches) included. Easily adjustable for toe-up too!

A mock cable stitch pattern creates the beautiful detailing on the front. You do not need a cable needle, although it is optional if you wish!

The Upside Down Socks are inspired by the TV Series, Stranger Things. While I was binge watching the first two seasons, these socks were on my needles and I was having amazing fun mixing texture and mock cables on a sock and seeing how they played together.

They were named when Mr Clarke, the boys’ Science teacher, explains how a high-energy spacetime tear can create a doorway to other dimensions, and in the case of Stranger Things, what they call ‘The Upside Down’, which is essentially a flipped reality. This is represented in the socks as the Mock Cable on the front of the leg and down the foot. When in ‘The Upside Down’ there is always what appears to be ash falling, which, in the sock pattern, is represented by the Moss Stitch on the back of the leg.

I hope you enjoy these socks as much as I do, will you be wearing yours for Season 3?!
