Meet the Valentine’s Monster! Some monsters wear their hearts on their sleeve… this monster wears hers on her belly. Fill it up with special treats for the one you love the most!

The Valentine’s Monster can be made in any yarn and hook combination you want. Just be certain that the fabric is firm enough that stuffing does not show through.

My monster is made in Vanna’s Choice Solids using two colors:

• Color 1: Pink Poodle (150 yards)
• Color 2: Cheery Cherry (65 yards)

The Valentine’s Monster is a Beginner- to Intermediate-level pattern. Skills you will need include single crochet, increases, decreases, and some seaming. Included is a photo tutorial on how create child-safe eyes from felt, although instructions for using plastic safety eyes and embroidered yarn eyes are given as well.
