Very simple pattern with simple stitches. The only thing you have to be careful about is counting your stitches as you are working with a fluffier yarn so stitches are not as easy to see but by spreading them out you can figure out where to skip and where to stitch.

gauge is not important, you will need just a little of velvet yarn I have already made a few and have barely put a dent in my ball. You could do this also with other bulky yarns it doesn’t just have to be velvet but the velvet is so soft and luxurious feeling.
