Materials Required

• Size 6.0mm (J) crochet hook
• (or whatever size is required to meet gauge)
• Bernat Velvet Yarn Weight 5 Bulky (100% Polyester, 315 yds / 288 m, 10.5 oz, 300 g) 2-3 Skeins
• Yarn needle (for seaming and weaving in ends)
• Scissors

Gauge
11 sc across by 10 rows of sc is 4”x4”.
(The waistband gauge is 7 rows of sc is 4” because it should be stretched before measuring.)

Notes
• Directions are written out as follows regarding size:
XS (SM, MD, LG, XL, 2XL, 3XL).
I recommend highlighting the size you are doing to avoid confusion.
• Construction: Waistband is stitched first. Skirt body is stitched separately. Skirt body is stitched in vertical rows which will be gathered when attached to waistband.
• The Mattress stitch is used to seem together the body of the skirt. Sl st is an option for seaming, but I like the way the skirt falls better with a mattress stitch.
