This piece found its name because of the small detailing that looks like a vertebrae traveling up the back of the sweater. It features a slightly cropped, drop-shoulder style with a V-neck and includes about 4”/10 cm of positive ease. The hem, cuffs, and neckline feature clean, twisted ribbing. The sweater consists of a bottom-up construction – knitting in the round until you split for the armholes, then seaming at the shoulders. The sleeves are then picked up and knit down to the cuff. A final touch will be picking up and knitting the neckline. I hope this becomes one of your favorite sweaters (as V-necks are my absolute go-to). Happy knitting!
Please note: There is a note on how to increase length in your sweater if you do not want it cropped.
