This caterpillar plushy is knit in the round using two strand of yarn held together, giving it a mottled look. The caterpillar is made in pieces, then sewn together. Elastic is used to connect the body segments and give the caterpillar a fun stretchiness. The feet and antenna are made with i-cord loops, so they can attached to an infant car-seat handle with a plastic baby chain link. The eyes and mouth are crochet or they can be made of felt.
