Let the new tea cosy design of Virgin Queen whisk you off to the Tudor times, a Golden age, with hot golden tea. Elizabeth I was always lavishly dressed in Tudor dresses that suited her fiery hair and pale skin tones.
The main part of the dress in knitted in the vintage style tea cosy pattern to give a really billowy look to the skirts of her dress. At the top she has a flounce. From the flounce upwards the knitting has a diamond pattern and where the diamonds cross is a spot.
Her arms have hanging sleeves that hang down as far as her skirts, and her bodice has a ruff and a standing collar.
Her hair is up in a bun and is adorned with flowers and pearls.
The tea cosy pattern of the Virgin Queen also comes with a pattern for legs and bloomers, in case you’d like to make her as a doll.
