The Walrus Was John-Paul
This pattern is
available for free.
My dad wanted a walrus. I could not find a knitting pattern that I liked well enough, so I devised one myself! His appearance is based on John Lennon during the “I Am the Walrus” segment of Magical Mystery Tour.
Gauge is not important to this project, as it’s a toy and not a garment. The only thing that matters is that you must knit tightly enough to ensure the stuffing will not show through the work.
I used Red Heart Super Saver because it was what I had on hand. This pattern would work well with any worsted-weight yarn you happen to have.
Updated on 2 January 2018 with PDF and clearer instructions. :)
