Colorful, but not too difficult to knit, this sweater is sized for both men and women. Though it’s rated at an Experienced skill level, this might be a good project for the Intermediate skill level knitter to try their hand at some color stranded knitting.
The body is worked in the round from the bottom up, beginning with k2, p2 ribbing, then a wide band of stranded color knitting. Once the stranded charts are complete, work continues with just one color in a knit/purl pattern. German short-rows are used to shape the shoulders, which are then joined from the RS using Three-Needle Bind-Off.
The sleeves are worked in the round from the cuff up using the same patterns as the body.
There are also instructions for an optional two-color version.
