A very simple straight Norwegian style mitten.

I have used bulky yarn on thin needles. I love the result you get with Lettlopi from istex (100 meters) on needle 2.25 mm (US size 1).
But you can use thinner yarn or/and thicker needles to vary the size or look. Another option is e.g. Pernilla Yarn by Filcolana on needle 3.50 mm

1 skein dark grey
1 skein light grey
About 5 metres edge colour

The mittens are knitted on 4 DP needles and you also need a crochet hook.
