The Wavy Scarf
The Wavy Scarf is an easy knit, and grows quite fast. Think “knitted Christmas gifts”. Wink wink…
Also, I think this pattern is just perfect for a beginner lace knitter.
Blocked scarf measures:
- 165 cm / 65 inches in length;
- 19 cm / 7.5 inches in width;
You’ll need:
- long needles in size 3 or 3,5 mm / US 2,5 or US 3 (you can also use circulars if it’s easier for your hands);
- light fingering or sock yarn about 100 grams / 492 yards – I used Alize Cashmira Fine
Abbreviations used:
k – knit
p – purl
YO – yarn over
ssk – slip, slip, knit slipped stitches together
k2tog – knit 2 together
sk2p – slip 1 st, knit 2 together, pass slipped stitch over
You’ll be working back and forth
