This headband was inspired by the Diagonal Weave stitch pattern from Barbara Walker’s Learn to Knit Afghan book. It only takes an hour or two to make. It is sized snugly so that it hugs the head and stays in place. It also works well as a neckwarmer. The yarns specified are soft and warm. If substituting yarns, make sure that the yarn is not scratchy. The yarn weight is given as sport, but a light DK will work just as well.
