DESCRIPTION
Any dachie lovers out there? My family has had wiener dogs since I was a teen and I, still to this day, have two myself. Their long bodies are seriously too funny to watch as they trot by. I have always loved the idea of using the classic silhouette in a pattern and that’s how the Weenie Beanie came to life. This colorwork beanie is depicting my little rascals (Kurt + Spinelli) as they walk in a wiener wonderland; snow falling, and frolicking in the chill.

This pattern is knit in the round on circular needles and fits the average adult-sized head that ranges between 20-22” in circumference. In this pattern you have the option to follow the chart or written out instructions for the weenies. The rest of the pattern is written out.

Knit in the round, seamless.

Will need to know how to cast on, knit and purl in the round, work two-stranded colorwork, decrease and bind off.

-1 ball of Lion Brand LB Collection Merino Camel (Pictured in “Burgundy Red”) or approximately 96m/105yards of another Sport weight yarn, category 2 (Color A)
-1 ball of Lion Brand LB Collection Merino Camel (Pictured in “Charcoal grey”) or approximately 50m/55yards of another Sport weight yarn, category 2 (Color B)
-Size US 6/4mm circular needles16”/40cm long
-Size US 6/4mm DPNs
-1 Stitch marker

-Darning needle
