The Westwood is meant to play double duty. I wanted it to keep you warm with its layers and be perfect to pull out on those cold nights when the dog needs a walk. However still really beautiful paired with your favorite jacket.

I’ve included two yarn weight options. The first is a super bulky 6 weight option, great for those harsh winds and bone chilling winters. It is slightly thicker and over all more of a dense scarf when you lay the two ends on top of eachother. The second is with a bulky weight 5 yarn to create a squisher, lighthearted version that will still be sure to keep you warm, but just a bit lighter feel and look.

You will need 348 yards of a super bulky weight yarn (4 skiens of Lion Brand Wool Ease Thick and Quick or 2 bonus bundles)

For the bulky weight 5 option-
(shown in photo of Westwood in blue and purple)
-You will need 390 yards
-6.5 Hook
-Gauge is 11 sts x 7 rows

Tested with Patons Classic Wool Bulky - 5 skiens required

You will need to have knowledge of HDC and working in BLO.
