- Yarn for hat Alpina Rene Twist (fine) 100% cotton, 50 g (1,8 oz)/125m (136 yds), №02
- Plastic eyes diameter 6 mm or 7 mm
- Toy filling
- Crochet hook 2mm for whale and 3 mm for hat
- Tapestry needle for sewing details
- Scissors
- A stitch marker to mark beginning of rounds
