The Wild Atlantic Way Shawl is inspired by the coastal route in Ireland by the same name. It is knit top down in garter stitch with an applied cable border, which is knit side-to-side. Any worsted-light bulky yarn would be appropriate for this knit, and the pictured shawl was knit with a single-ply yarn.
