Pattern includes written instructions only, in standard US terms, for a cozy hand-knitted cowl that is beginner friendly! It is written in two versions (plain or paneled) and with three yarn weight options (light bulky, bulky and super bulky) for many style options. It is knit in mainly knit, slip stitch and yarn over with a knit and purl brim. Perfect for the beginner with a little experience, this pattern is easily adapted and styled to your own personal taste! The end result is a beautiful cowl brimming with delicious texture. Your family and friends will be impressed with your creations! It makes the perfect gift!
Skill level:
Easy to Moderate knitting pattern that you make yourself.
One size fits most but the simple 4 or 8 stitch pattern repeat makes the pattern easy to adapt if needed.
Materials You Will Need:
Light bulky - 6 mm (US 10) circular knitting needles with a 16” cord; 128-130 yards
Bulky - 8 mm (US 11), circular knitting needles with a 16” cord; 98-100 yards
Super bulky - 9 mm (US 13), circular knitting needles with a 16” cord; 80-82 yards
