This is the Lite version of The Winding Ridge Beanie and is an intermediate level knitting pattern. The Winding Ridge Beanie showcases variegated or solid colored yarn and can be made in Worsted or Bulky/ Light Super Bulky Weight Yarn. This pattern is knit in the round from the bottom up.

This pattern can easily be modified to be taller or wider, and offers multiple brim options. You can make it into a folded brim beanie with multiple stitch patterns to choose from, or opt for a classic single brim. This beanie will fit an average adult size head circumference of 21”-23.“

Materials:
-One H/5mm crochet hook for closure of the lateral braid.
-Tapestry needle
-Stitch Marker
-Scissors
-Optional Pom Pom

Worsted Weight:
-US 6 (4.0mm) 16” circular knitting needles
-US 7 (4.5mm) 16” circular knitting needles and DPNs
-Approximately 180 yds. Lion brand heartland (1 total skein)

Bulky/ Light Super Bulky:
-US 10.5 (6.5mm) 16” circular knitting needles and DPNs
-Approximately 90-110yds. Malabrigo noventa/baah sequoia (1-2 skeins)
-Approximately 104 yds. Malabrigo chunky (1-2 skeins)
-Approximately 130 yds. DHG Piuma (1 total skein)

-Note: Each weight is designed to use under one skein of each type of yarn listed for the single brim option. You will need two skeins for the double brim option using malabrigo noventa and baah sequoia.
