Construction
First stitches are cast on for the wrist. After your ribbing is worked, you’ll fold over the cuff and join, then start the colorwork by following the chart for your size. At the same time, increases are made for the thumb. The thumb stitches are then placed on a stitch holder/cord so you can work the remainder of the hand. The remainder of the hand is knit and eventually decreased to reach the tip of the fingers. The thumb stitches are picked back up and worked in the round until the desired length.

Size Guide
This mitten is written to have 0.5-1.25 inches/1.5-3 cm of positive ease, meaning it will be 0.5-1.25 inches/1.5-3 cm larger than your widest hand circumference. The sizes S (M) L are designed to fit a hand circumference of 7 (8) 9 inches/17.5 (20) 22.5 cm.

The finished products knit in correct gauge measure:
* Mitten circumference (measured above
thumb): 7.25 (8.75) 10.25 inches/18 (22) 25.5 cm.
* Length from bottom edge
to top: 8.5 (9.75) 11 inches/21.5 (24.5) 27.5 cm.
