The Window Cat
Stand outside the Morgan family home on any day, and you are guaranteed to spy this particular cat in one of the home’s many sash windows. Solitary and statuesque, he prefers to watch the world go by instead of chasing it in the garden.
One of the simpler patterns in the book, The Window Cat is worked in the round from the bottom up, and all in one piece. This version varies from my original with changes to the body and improvements to the pattern writing, particularly in the neck, head and ears. It is meant to be more of a silhouette than a 3D object.
The final project will measure around 13.5 inches tall and 7.5 inches wide (not including tail) when knit with recommended yarn weight and needle size.
