I used Malabrigo Rasta Yarn (100% Merino Wool, Super Bulky), Malabrigo Noventa Yarn (100% Merino Wool, Light Super Bulky) & Malabrigo Mecha Yarn (100% Merino Wool, Light Bulky) to make this beautiful beanie. If those yarn are not available to you, any similiar category yarn of your choice can be used.
SIZE: One size, Adult
Malabrigo Rasta: In approx. 85 yards
Malabrigo Noventa: In approx. 90 yards
Malabrigo Mecha: In approx. 108 yards
NEEDLES:
For Rasta Yarn: Circular Knitting Needles US 13 (9 mm), 16” & US 15 (10 mm), 16”
For Noventa Yarn: Circular Knitting Needles US 11 (8 mm), 16” & US 13 (9 mm), 16”
For Mecha Yarn: Circular Knitting Needles US 9 (5.5 mm), 16” & US 10 (6 mm), 16”
SKILL LEVEL:
Advanced Beginner
GAUGE:
For Rasta: 4” x 4” = 9 stitches x 12 rounds of stockinette (using 10 mm needles)
For Noventa: 4” x 4” = 10 stitches x 14 rounds of stockinette (using 9 mm needles)
For Mecha: 4” x 4” = 16 stitches x 18 rounds of stockinette (using 6 mm needles)
