Short Description
The hat is knitted on circular needles from the bottom up. The cuff is worked with an Italian cast- on in a 2x2 rib pattern, whereby a few rounds are knitted in a contrasting colour, which form a decorative stripe at the bottom of the hat after the cuff is folded over. The middle section of the hat is then worked in stockinette stitch, which is initially knitted in the main colour and later changes to the contrasting colour. The crown, which is also knitted in the contrasting colour, is created by decreases in 6 places. Finally, the cuff is sewn on at selected points to fix the size and aesthetic of the decorative stripe.

DEUTSCHE BESCHREIBUNG

Kurzbeschreibung
Die Mütze wird auf der Rundstricknadel von unten nach oben gestrickt. Das Bündchen wird mit italienischem Maschenanschlag im 2x2 Rippenmuster gearbeitet, wobei einige Runden in einer Kontrastfarbe gestrickt werden, die nach Umklappen des Bündchens einen dekorativen Streifen am unteren Rand der Mütze bilden. Danach erfolgt der Mittelteil der Mütze in glatt rechts, dieser wird zu Beginn noch in der Hauptfarbe gestrickt und wechselt später zur Kontrastfarbe. Die Krone, welche ebenfalls in der Kontrastfarbe gestrickt wird, entsteht durch Abnahmen an jeweils 6 Stellen. Abschließend wird das Bündchen an ausgewählten Stellen angenäht, um den dekorativen Streifen in seiner Größe und Ästhetik zu fixieren.
