If you are looking for a blanket that is equal parts cozy and warm this blanket has both of those things in spades!! The Wintertide Blanket pattern is an advanced beginner level crochet pattern. It utilizes basic crochet stitches to create a beautifully textured blanket. Instructions are included for #4 worsted weight yarn and a #3 dk weight yarn. This is broken up into 2 different pdf’s to avoid confussion.

Supplies:(#4 worsted weight yarn)
-J/6.0mm hook & K/6.5mm hook
-1,320 - 2,081 yds of #4 worsted weight yarn. I used Caron One Pound to make both sizes.
-needle for sewing in ends
-stitch markers
-scissors

Supplies:(#3 dk weight yarn)
-G/4.25mm hook & H/5.0mm hook
-1,592 yds of #3 dk weight yarn. I used Lion Brand Mandala yarn in the color Sphinx.
-needle for sewing in ends
-stitch markers
-scissors

Gauge:
-Gauge is not super important for this project. If you wish to change the length of your starting chain just chain an odd number.
-Gauge given is for the special stitch since it makes up the majority of the blanket.
-3 ⅜” sts/inch
-1 ¾” rows/inch

Worsted weight yarn blanket sizes:
Lapghan measures 37” x 37”
Large throw measures 37” x 60”

Dk weight yarn blanket sizes:
31” x 35”
