The Witch's Frog
The Witch’s frog sits 6 inches/15cm high.
He would be great fun for Halloween night to welcome your party guests at the door step adding to the atmosphere.
The pattern itself is a no frills, easy to read, easy to follow with loads of photos to help you along the way
The ‘Witch is home’ sign is added at the end of the pattern for you to print out and stick onto card.
Materials needed
DK yarn used throughout
(less than)50g green frog colour
I used Hayfield Bonus Grass (825)
(less than) 25g black
A pair of 3mm needles
Small amount of Fiberfil
Pair of 20mm Google eyes alternatively you could embroider or use tiny buttons.
A natural twig or wooden skewer about 5.5 inches/14cm
All-purpose glue
Abbreviations
K = Knit
P = Purl
St/sts = stitch/stitches
Ss = stocking stitch (knit one row – purl one row)
Tog = knit/purl the next 2 sts together (decrease)
Inc1 = knit into the FRONT and the BACK of the next stitch (increase)
Please note: If you use any other method than this to increase, your stitch count might not work out.
