The Woah Bargello Hat
Inspired by Bargello/Florentine canvass work embroidery, the Woah Bargello Hat uses three stranded colourwork knitting to create a striking pattern with two complimentary colours that are in stark contrast to the main colour of the brim and crown.
This pattern is charted and written for both a three-stranded and two-starnded version (developed as a request during the testing phase). There is also a bonus pattern for the Piccolo Woah Bargello Hat, intended for babies/toddlers which is also charted for 3 and 2 colour options.
Construction
Knit bottom up, in the round with a ribbed brim then a stranded colourwork tube which is closed at the top using a SSK/K2tog/CDD decrease method.
Sizes
Available Adult M size, with a bonus pattern for the Piccolo Woah Bargello hat in baby/toddler size.
Yarn
Three stranded version requires one main colour and two contrast colours.
Two-tone version requires one main colour and one contrast colour.
