The Woven Cable Headband
A fun cable woven headband made from a bulky yarn that looks super cute with so many outfits. A quick and easy way to keep your ears warm. NOTE - it is important to keep your stitches loose to make the pattern work! If you are a tight knitter, work on keeping them loose so the cables can work!
Supplies: About half a skein of bulky yarn, stitch marker, Size US 13 16” circular needles, cable needle
Gauge: 5 stitches and 7 rows of knit = 2 inches
Stitches: Knit
Cable 4 Front (C4F) – Slip the next 2 stitches onto a cable needle or stitch holder and hold at the front of the work. Knit the next 2 stitches from the left hand needle then knit the stitches being held at the front of the work.
Cable 4 Back (C4F) - – Slip the next 2 stitches onto a cable needle or stitch holder and hold at the back of the work. Knit the next 2 stitches from the left hand needle then knit the stitches being held at the back of the work.
